Boran Biriz
Born in Izmir and raised in Istanbul. Graduated architecture at Vienna University of Technology. His wish to live for a little while in overseas has been changed and he didn’t turn back to Turkey. After getting his degree he moved to Munich. He likes travelling, watching birds, taking photos, painting, collecting stamps and cooking. His last aim is to learn Greek and get to know the Greek culture. Shortly after he met Dogacan, they’ve founded Kalamata Magazine and keep on working together. Dogacan Onaran
Born in Ankara and raised in Istanbul. Graduated sociology and got her M.Sc. degree in urban studies at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Her career began as a copywriter but the passion for gastronomy had a strong influence on her, so that she decided to get a professional culinary education. Afterwards she worked as a cook, food writer and photographer. Everything about food is in her field of interest. Despite her allergies, she likes cats and peaches.
