Mastic Muhallebi

Serves 6


  • 500 ml cold milk
  • 1,5 tbsp plain flour
  • 1,5 tbsp corn starch
  • 50 gr sugar
  • 2 tbsp mastic jam
  • fresh red fruits
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

  1. Prepare your pudding cups (glass or ceramic) on the kitchen worktop.
  2. Preferably in a stewpan, pour the cold milk, plain flour and corn starch and mix them well till the boiling point. Remember that the heat should be not too high.
  3. When the milk steam appears, add both sugar and mastic jam, mix all together and turn off the heat.
  4. Share the pudding into the cups and let them cool 1-2 hours at the room temperature, than 1 hour in the fridge.
  5. Before you serve, decorate with some fresh red fruits.
